Rabbi Robin in Kelowna... isn't he so sexy in his Hasidic hat?

Robin is the coolest Rabbi you will ever meet.  And just like any great joke you've ever heard, you have to see Robin and Father Jed when they're paddling together!  The jokes and the affectionate rivalry has us all in stitches during practices!

Rabbi joined the club when he twisted his ankle playing baseball in 1998.  Searching for a sport that wouldn't strain his injury, he heard about dragon boating, and tried out for the TELUS team.  He became one of the regular TELUS paddlers, until one day the River Rats paddled by with our martinis in hand, and he immediately defected to our crew!

To this day, Robin has been one of regular steersmen and paddlers, and our second-best martini maker.

We asked Rabbi Robin why paddling is such a passion for him now, to which he replied,

"All this screaming and shouting and splashing!  It's more fun than any bar mitzfah I've ever thrown!."

Rabbi Robin is now traveling through Orlando and other parts of Florida on a spiritual pilgrimage.  Something about seeing Disneyworld in all its kosher splendor.

You're the best, Robin!  It's good to have you paddling with us!

Bless you, my son. Welcome to the River Rats!
